The 512KB Utility Warehouse broadband service provide 2GB of downloads per month and comes with free email anti-virus and anti-spam filters.
This
package is now available online. Clicking on the pig will take you to the Internet
section of the Utility Warehouse website. Details of the service are shown in
the column headed Broadband 512 with FREE calls. If you click on Register,
you'll be taken to a new screen where you enter your phone number to check local
availability of ADSL. Then you'll go to a third page where you choose which
package you want. If you already have a modem, click on 512 Connection only;
otherwise, click on 512 with modem if you have a PC, or 512 with router
if you have a Mac. When you have entered all your personal details, you will
have the option to add on extra Utility Warehouse services before you check
out. So take a look at the Utility

Your free phone calls will be provided on the same phone line that the broadband is connected to. This means you must take the Utility Warehouse Home Phone service on this number. In effect, you will be receiving More Talk Option 3 free of charge - see the Utility Warehouse website for more details.
If you wish, you may also switch your home phone Line Rental from BT to Utility Warehouse, saving you up to an extra £18 per year.
Please note that the free calls element of the package will start from the first day of the month after the broadband service has gone live and CPS (carrier pre-selection) has been set up. Until then, you will be charged for your phone calls at the standard rates (which are still substantially cheaper than BT's). The £19.95 monthly fee will be charged from the date the broadband service is connected, and is billed monthly in advance.
Membership of the Utility Warehouse Discount Club costs just £1.76 per month, which should be easily outweighed by the savings you will make each month from using the services. Members also receive a cashback discount of up to £50 per annum depending on the number of different services taken (eg. fixed line, mobile, gas, electricity, freephone and internet). If you take just Home Phone and Broadband you will receive £10 annual cashback.

**Compared with the closest BT equivalent. Although the BT service is slightly
faster, it only includes 1GB of usage each month, whereas the Utility Warehouse512KB
broadband service gives you double that amount and you will receive FREE UK
calls. Free UK calls are of up to 60 minutes duration (customers are able to
redial as often as they wish).
